The Foods of Athenry is a family run bakery located on a farm a few kilometres east of the town of Athenry.
We started the business with a single principle in mind – wholesome food . As the business grew we remained true to our initial goal and use quality fresh ingredients on a daily basis to produce simple wholesome food.
Out here in the fields of Athenry we are passionate about food – and ours in particular! We do not use any yeast, salt, preservatives, artificial colours/flavourings/sweeteners or hydrogenated fats.
All our products are handmade in small batches on our farm to bring you that homemade taste. All the apples in our apple pies and crumbles are peeled and chopped fresh every day in house.
Our range of baked goods is baked and delivered to the local shops ,sometimes within hours of coming from the oven. Our brown soda bread is the house bread of Morans Oyster Cottage in Kilcolgan for many years.
This is as close as you will get to making it yourself . We are confident about the quality of our ingredients and combine the most basic to produce a wholesome delicious treat… just like you would do at home....but we're glad you didn't!!
